Seen perched briefly atop a tree (somewhat against the light unfortunately) my impression was that the bird’s underparts were greyish and totally unstreaked, it flew just as I attempted to photograph it so the only image is pretty unsatisfactory even after using Corel Paintshop Pro to lighten it. I submitted it to the LPO Faune France site as a Red-footed Falco 2AC but despite their apparent acceptance of the record I have recently received comments that my identification is not correct. I…
